Championship Meet

So I had my big meet today and I got fifth. There was this one huge hill when I moved to second place for a little but then a got cramps and got passed. It was really awesome and there are some good pictures that I will post down below. Also, I had two tests today so I hope I did well, but I bet you really don't care. Here are the photos.

Taper

Hi so I have to get back to homework so this is going to be quick. I have two tests in school tomorrow so I have to study and I also have the championship cross country race. I am super nervous about the race because it is pretty hilly and I need to get top ten. I don't know why I am nervous because I have gotten top ten every time. But anyway, in practice we just ran to the shopping center and bought frozen yogurt and then ran back. So not really tapering but kind of cause it was like 2 miles round trip and we also did some strides. So that's pretty much it because I have to study. Bye.

Hills SUCK!!

So, I just got back from cross country and we ran up a hill called puke hill. It is my first time running the whole way up it. It gains about 400 feet in 800 meters, so it is super gnarly. At the top your thighs are burning so much it feels like jello. We ran it because we have a race on Wednesday which is super hilly. I usually get fourth, but I am trying for top three. Last meet I was third and a guy passes me right at the end because I did not know that he was coming. So I have to do homework now but I will post another blog tomorrow. Also, next time I go to puke hill, I'll try to take a picture.
